Cardiac or first aid emergencies can occur at any time. According to the American Heart Association, more than 90 percent of sudden cardiac arrest victims die before reaching the hospital. Statistics prove that if more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved. Aultman College Community Education offers a variety of American Heart Association CPR and first aid courses designed for healthcare providers, workplace first responders, and all community members who wish to be prepared to save a life.

Healthcare Provider Training
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers -
This course is designed for healthcare providers and students who are seeking training that offers a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course. Participants are instructed in Adult/Child/Infant CPR/First Aid and the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Other dates may be available by calling 330.363.6776. Course meets required CPR certification for Aultman College degree programs.

Workplace Responder Training
These courses are designed for employees or designated first responders who require credentialed training because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Registration for these courses is also open to any community member who wishes to participate in credentialed training. Participants receive a Course Completion Card. Utilizing AHA’s course module format, Aultman College Community Education can customize a course to meet your organization’s needs.
Heartsaver® Adult/Child/Infant AED (Automated External Defibrillator) with CPR
Heartsaver is perfect for first-time parents, aunts and uncles, or anyone else who might care for your child. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements and regulatory requirements for child care workers. Participants learn basic first aid along with CPR and AED skills. Register now!
