Aultman College Community Education computer courses are taught in a state-of-the-art computer lab. Each student works at an individual workstation. Courses are taught in a three-class series. Participants should plan to attend each class.
Beginning Excel 2010
Whether you are using Excel 2007 or 2010, this course is for you! Teaches the beginning level skills and is ideal for a newer user who wants to become well versed in Excel. Students will learn how to enter and edit data; select cells and ranges; print worksheets; create formulas and function; format cell contents; insert and delete columns, rows, and cells; and charts.

Intermediate Excel 2010
Students will learn more complex skills such as how to use multiple worksheets and workbooks, and they will start working with more advanced formatting options including styles, themes, backgrounds, inserting clip art, pictures and SmartArt. They will also learn how to create outlines and subtotals, how to create and apply cell names, and how to work with lists and tables. The course is designed for users of Excel 2007 or Excel 2010.

Now that you've mastered the complexities of multiple worksheets, workbooks and formatting you are ready for PivotTables, financial functions, data analysis, auditing and analysis tools, advanced functions such as VLookup, Sumif&Countif, and more. The text concludes with an integration lesson.
Courses are held in a state-of-the-art computer lab where each student will have an opportunity to practice their skills. The course is designed for users of Excel 2007 or Excel 2010.

NEW! Outlook 2010
Learn the basic functions and features of Outlook 2010. Students will create e-mail accounts and send e-mail messages using several techniques. They will also learn how to manage e-mail messages, contacts, tasks, and meeting requests. Finally, students will customize Outlook for maximum efficiency.
Aultman Health Foundation employees with an assigned stationary computer will be able to remote into their desktop from the Computer Lab and access their personal Outlook account during class!
Beginning PowerPoint 2010
Have you recently taken on a new role and are responsible for putting together a presentation? In this class students will receive a thorough introductory training in PowerPoint 2010. In this course, students are introduced to document themes, bulleted lists, outlines, formatting text, printing presentations, transitions, clip art and graphics, charts and slide show delivery.
Beginning Word 2010
Looking for a thorough introduction to Word 2010? This course will meet your needs by providing training in working with text, printing, using proofreading tools, creating bulleted and numbered lists, tables and forms. This is a great course whether you are a new user or have more experience but don’t know all the tricks to making Word work for you.
New! Beginning Access 2010
Learn the basic functions and features of Access 2010 with this course. Students will create tables in Datasheet view, preview and print data, design databases, create database objects, format tables, lookup fields, field properties, queries, and much more.

Great course for all brand new computer users! Find out what all those keys on the keyboard are for! Learn what your desktop and screen savers are and how to change them. Discover folders and how to keep your documents organized. Learn some helpful tips while using the internet and how to navigate from website to website.
