Accreditation Update as of May 1, 2013
Aultman College is consistently recognized for its premier associate degree programs in nursing and radiography. We are proud of our quality commitment to students and the communities we serve.
The college is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and our programs are authorized by the Ohio Board of Regents (OBR). The nursing program is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and the radiography program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Results of recent accreditation and approval visits are as follows:
HLC: The college received 10 year regional accreditation as a result of the November 12-14, 2012 comprehensive visit. The next reaffirmation visit will be in 2022.
ACEN: The September 25-27, 2012 site visit resulted in full accreditation for the associate of science in nursing (ASN) program through 2015. The program received warning status for specific areas of improvement which will be addressed during the scheduled ACEN visit in 2015.
OBN: Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences ASN Program was granted full approval by the Board of Nursing on May 17, 2012, for a period of five years.
