Recognizing the demand for nursing education beyond a diploma program, the School expanded its curriculum and became an incorporated college in 2004, changing its name to Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The College was granted Initial Accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools in 2009.
