Who needs to take the ASSET exam?
The taking of the ASSET exam is required for those applicants who are not able to submit a minimum ACT score of 20 or a minimum SAT score of 940.
About the ASSET exam
The ASSET is capable of examining several areas of academic skill. However, the categories you will be tested on for the purpose of applying to Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences are limited to these four areas: writing skills, reading skills, numerical skills, and intermediate algebra.
The following links provide information about each area. You may wish to consult the ASSET Student Guide for sample questions and a list of approved calculators. It is the applicant’s responsibility to know whether or not their calculator is approved for use during the exam.

Location and parking
All exams will be held in the Aultman Education Center. Please park in the visitor’s parking deck located on 7th Street and Bedford Avenue. Click here for directions to Aultman College!
What to bring to the ASSET exam
A valid driver’s license or other State approved ID; #2 pencils, or #2 mechanical pencils, with erasers.
Results of the ASSET exam
Results will be mailed within two weeks of the test date to the address provided on your college application.
