He completed his Ed.D in teaching and learning in January 2015 with his dissertation research examining on how attitudes toward technology can affect the implementation of iPads in the college setting.
Dr. Piscitello has been teaching social science courses since 2008, and currently teaches at Stark State, University of Akron, and of course at Aultman College. Chuck has taught classes face-to-face, hybrid and on-line. Most of his experience comes from teaching sociology, but he also has experience teaching cultural diversity, family dynamics, social problems, statistics, organizational behavior, interpersonal communications, small business management, and student skills classes. Along with teaching at Aultman College, he is the instructional designer in charge of creating on-line and hybrid course content, providing faculty training and development, and growing our distance education course offerings.
Dr. Piscitello states, “In my spare time...which is rare these days, I try to spend as much time with my beautiful wife and gorgeous daughters who are my motivation for all the madness I listed above”. He loves cooking, making wine, beer, and spirits and attempt to stay physically active through weight training, and trail running.
