Admission To Our Growing College

Aultman College admitted its first class of students in Fall of 2005 and enrollment has quadrupled since then. While most people think of Aultman College as just a Nursing Program, we are in the process of expanding our professional programs. The College is on track to begin offering an Associate of Science in Radiography degree program in Fall of 2011 and will continue expanding its offerings based on the health care workforce needs of our region.

One of the unique characteristics of an Aultman College education is the quantity and quality of clinical training offered to our students.  We feel this is a critical component of professional education.  Because of the intensity of our clinical training, space in our Nursing Program is limited. Yet, applicants to our College have requested the ability to begin their general education coursework here, even if they were not able to get into the Nursing Program. Therefore, our admission process is designed to meet the needs of all students who want to launch their health care careers at Aultman College.

Step 2: Nursing Program Admission

If you are interested in applying to the Aultman College Nursing Program, you must complete Step 1 and complete a separate application for the Nursing program.  If you meet the Nursing Program admission criteria, you may submit these applications at the same time.  The Nursing Program selection process is competitive and geared toward admitting students who show potential for handling the rigorous program curriculum. Selection of applicants is based on a ranking system

Nursing program admission is determined after the Application deadline, when all applications have been ranked.  You will receive a decision letter about your Nursing program status on or about September 15, 2010.
