Safety Education and Patient Privacy

The following self-study modules and tests must be completed as part of the admission requirements to Aultman College.

Safety Education

Safety is an important part of the Aultman culture. Please use the links below to review the Safety Education materials and take the Safety test. You must score 80% to pass the test and meet the admission requirement. If you do not achieve a score of 80%, you will be notified via e-mail by the Enrollment Specialist and given an opportunity to review the materials and re-take the test.

Patient Privacy

In 1996, the federal government enacted regulations, known as HIPAA, to protect patient privacy and the confidentiality of patient health information. As a health sciences student, it is critical for you to understand these regulations. Please use the links below to educate yourself about patient privacy and take the post-test. You must score 80% on the post-test to meet admission requirements. If you do not achieve a score of 80%, you will be notified via e-mail by the Enrollment Specialist and given an opportunity to review the materials and re-take the test.
