Copyright Infringement Policy and Sanctions
Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences supports trust and honesty in all relationships as an institutional value of integrity. Academic integrity lies at the heart of learning, free inquiry, and search for knowledge; therefore, Aultman College requires all faculty, staff, and students to act honestly, morally and ethically in the maintenance of professional standards for learning.
Aultman College is also committed to taking reasonable steps to avoid misuse of its computer network, including use of computers to violate the Copyright Law of the United States. Campus computer networks are often used to reproduce and distribute copyrighted works, including but not limited to written materials, music, movies, television shows, pictures, and software through the use of peer-to-peer and shared networks. The Copyright Infringement and Sanctions Policy provides a means for annual disclosure to students, faculty, and staff about illegal copyright infringement and unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, including use of technology-based uploading and downloading of copyrighted works, through peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing on campus networks that may subject them to criminal and civil penalties. Textbook Policy
As part of the Higher Education Opportunity Act (PL110-315), institutions are required to provide textbook information at the time a student registers for a course. Aultman College complies with this act through the Textbook Policy.
Financial Aid Information

Graduation Rates
Aultman College is pleased to provide information regarding our institution’s graduation/completion and transfer-our rates for full-time, first time undergraduates. Substance Abuse Policy
Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences (ACNHS) has adopted a substance abuse policy for the following purposes:
• To establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment for all students.
• To provide a safe, healthy environment for clients while providing care.
• To preserve the reputation of the College and its employees within the community at large and within the health care community.
The College opposes substance abuse and will enforce its rules regarding alcohol and illicit drugs. The College also supports and will cooperate with authorities at the local, state, and federal levels regarding the regulation of alcohol and illicit drugs. The College will not protect a student in violation of the law from prosecution under federal, state or local law. The College will not provide sanction from the law nor are the students immune from legal investigation or arrest by civil authorities. Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA)
In compliance with FERPA, Aultman College has established a Record Retention Policy and Procedure to protect student privacy in regards to records maintained by the College. Copies of the FERPA Act, federal record regulations and the Aultman College Record Retention Policy and Procedure are available in the College office.
Campus Security
As a health-system based college, campus safety and security is a top priority at Aultman College. Aultman Health Foundation’s Security Services Department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide a safe environment for students, employees, patient and visitors. Services include escorts to and from parking lots, vehicle assistance, investigation reports and vehicle accident reports. In accordance with the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, Aultman College reports to the federal government statistics all crimes that occur on the Aultman Hospital grounds and are reported to Aultman Security Services by patients, visitors, employees and the public. Campus Emergency Response
Aultman College utilizes a Internet-based mass communication system to notify all students, faculty and staff of school closings and emergency situations. In the event of an emergency situation or school closing, an official message will be sent to all communication devices students have registered with Aultman College. Students are responsible for keeping all of their contact information current with the College. Phone number and contact information changes should be communicated through Change of Information form, available in the Main Office.
