Apply for Housing

Please complete the 3 steps below to apply for housing at Walsh University.  Please note that your housing application will NOT be processed until all 3 steps are completed.  If you have questions at any time, please contact the Student Life Coordinator at 330-363-4280.

Step 1. Fill out the Walsh online housing application.

The Housing Application allows you to select residence hall, meal plan and roommate preferences.  Walsh University Residence Life makes every reasonable effort to accommodate your requests, however, they cannot guarantee housing assignments or roommate requests.  If you do not have a specific roommate in mind, they will use the information you provide in the Housing Preferences section of the application to match you with a roommate with similar preferences.

Discrimination based on race, color, creed, religion or national origin is contrary to the philosophy and policies of Walsh University and violates civil rights laws.  Information of this nature is not taken into account when making roommate assignments.

Step 2. Download and complete Housing Contract and Medical History Form.

Students (and parents, if applicable) should read the Housing Contract carefully before signing it.  The contract is for room and board and is binding for the entire academic year. The Medical History Form is required primarily to determine what adjustments, if any, must be made in schedules of activities to meet the individual needs of students. Please complete this questionnairre fully and accurately.

Step 3. Submit Housing Contract, Medical History Form and $200 Housing Deposit to Aultman College.

The $200.00 Housing Deposit serves as a contractual guarantee and as a damage deposit.  A full refund of the deposit will be made to students who enter the residence halls and fulfill the academic year contract for 2011-2012.  A full refund of the deposit is also made to students who cancel their room reservation by contacting the Student Life Coordinator, in writing, prior to August 1 (preceding the Fall semester), or prior to December 1 (preceding the spring semester). The Housing Contract contains all of the details concerning the Housing/Security Deposity Refund Policy.

Hall assignments for Fall semester are processed during the summer, and notices are mailed prior to the start of the new academic year. Included in the notice is the name, address and phone number of the assigned roommate (unless students indicate on the Housing Application that they do not want the University to disclose their personal information.)
