Mrs. Grametbauer has over 20 years of experience in nursing. She received her BSN from Kent State University and her MSN from The University of Akron with a focus in gerontology. She has been teaching for the last eleven years including lab, lecture and clinical. Prior to teaching, she embraced her nursing career from its beginnings at the bedside in critical care, has served as a case manager, unit director, and director of education and development, and has held various managerial and administrative positions over the years in both the acute care and extended care settings. She has a passion for teaching and considers it an honor and privilege to be a part of educating and preparing future nurses. “One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is the challenge of taking a difficult concept and breaking it down to a relatable, understandable piece of information. Seeing the ‘ah-ha’ moment is so rewarding.” Michelle feels this is an exciting time to be a part of Aultman College with the development and implementation of the BSN program. “It is a pleasure to work with such a professional, dedicated, faculty.”
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys the outdoors, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
