Associate Science of Nursing (ASN) Program Transition
For more than 120 years, Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences has provided the best education and clinical experiences for our students, equipping them to become successful practitioners and leaders in their field.
In today’s health care landscape, hospitals are looking for engaged, certified nurses with bachelor’s degrees. To stay abreast of these industry changes and ensure we are offering the best education possible, Aultman College is seeking approval for a pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and will be accepting our last group of applications for the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program for the fall 2017 semester.
Students currently in the ASN program and those accepted into the ASN program before or for fall 2017 will have until the end of spring semester 2020 to complete their ASN degree at Aultman College. After that semester, students who have not completed their ASN will be guided toward alternatives.
Aultman College will continue providing instruction to all students in the ASN program through the end of spring semester 2020.
Aultman College will continue to offer its BSN Completion Program, the Associate of Science in Radiography (ASR), and the Associate of Science in Health Sciences (ASHS) – with plans of growing our offerings to meet the needs of the health care field.
