Financial aid consists of four main types of aid:
Scholarships: Provided to students based on academic ability, special talents, etc.
Grants: Monies awarded by the federal government, the state of Ohio, and the institution that you do not have to pay back.
Loans: This is money that you do have to pay back. The federal government is the most common lender.
Federal Work Study: This federally funded program allows students to work part-time to earn money to assist with college expenses.
