Title IX is a federal law passed in 1972 that protects students from discrimination based on sex in school programs and activities. At Aultman College, it also ensures a safe campus environment free from sexual misconduct and provides clear steps to take if you experience or witness such behavior.

Examples include:
- Sexual jokes, comments, or innuendos
- Retaliation for refusing a date or sexual advance
- Stalking or relationship violence
- Rape or sexual assault
- Unwanted hugging, touching, or pressure for sexual activity
- Sexual content in emails or texts
