Matt graduated cum laude from Aultman College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently completing his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on nursing education at Kent State University, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026.
Since becoming a registered nurse, his clinical practice has focused on critical care across several hospitals in Northeast Ohio. In addition to teaching, he maintains active clinical practice as a part-time intensive care unit float nurse, caring for patients experiencing a wide range of critical illnesses.
Matt began teaching clinical courses at Aultman College in 2024 and is proud to be part of the community that helped him thrive as a nursing student. As an educator, he hopes to instill in students a love for the nursing profession while fostering lifelong learning, growth, and critical thinking as they begin their own nursing journeys.
In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his partner and their cats, practicing the cello, hiking (especially in the fall), and playing video games.
