Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a two-year Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree. Students who graduate from Aultman College are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX), used by the Ohio Board of Nursing to determine whether a student is prepared to become an entry level nurse. A graduate who passes NCLEX is awarded a nursing license and becomes a registered nurse (RN). In 2009, 98% of Aultman College graduates passed the NCLEX on their first try.
Residency Requirement
In order to graduate with a degree from Aultman College, 36 credit hours must be completed at our College (approximately 50% of degree requirement)
Graduation Requirements
· A minimum of 73 credit hours
· 41 general education credit hours
· 32 nursing credit hours
· Residency course requirements apply
· It is recommended that the program of study be completed with the last clinical nursing course (NRS 250)
· Completion of NCLEX review course selected by the program
