Institutional & Program Accreditation Information
Aultman College is consistently recognized for its premier degree programs in nursing and radiography. We are proud of our quality commitment to students and the communities we serve. The college participates in and complies with accrediting and regulatory processes that help to ensure a quality education for our students. Meeting the requirements set forth by the regulatory agencies listed below ensures an ongoing process of assessing institutional effectiveness.
Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE): All programs are authorized by the ODHE. The ODHE was formerly known as the Ohio Board of Regents (OBR).
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC): The college is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), which awarded 10-year accreditation on the Standard Pathway as a result of the November 12-14, 2012 comprehensive visit. The first Pathway visit occurred in November 2016, and the next reaffirmation visit will be in 2022.
The associate degree nursing program at Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the Aultman campus located at 2600 6th Street SW Canton, Ohio 44710 is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing ( ACEN)

The most recent accreditation decision made by the ACEN Board of Commissioners for the associate of nursing program is continuing accreditation.
The Associate Degree in Radiography Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). In 2018, the program was awarded a full 8-year accreditation, which is the maximum duration that may be granted by the JRCERT. The next visit will take place in 2026.
"The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Aultman College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org.)." The bachelor of science in nursing program was reviewed in February 2015 for initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and received full accreditation through 2020. The next visit will take place in spring 2020.
The bachelor of social work program is in the process of seeking candidacy for accreditation with the Council on Social Work Accreditation (CSWE).
The medical assisting program is formally affiliated with American Medical Technologists (AMT) and the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), a national certification agency. The Medical Assisting Certificate program is in the process of seeking accreditation from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
