No matter where you are in your nursing journey or how you'd like to shape your career, Aultman College has the best RN nursing programs in Ohio.
A registered nurse (RN) provides general care for patients in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, RNs have a salary range of $66,030 to $135,320, depending on their location and experience. Nursing is a very rewarding career, and you can find success once you obtain a nursing degree and pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
At Aultman College, both nursing programs — Associate of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing — prepare students to take the NCLEX. Our students consistently achieve high NCLEX passage rates.

ASN & BSN Programs
Aultman College offers two entry-level nursing RN programs: Associate of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
The Associate of Science in Nursing program accepts students directly into the program each fall and spring. Students must be focused and committed to five semesters of intense training. This program is accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN). Some employers will require this graduate to return to college to complete the Bachelor of Nursing degree.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is a traditional four-year degree. Once accepted into this college, students are directly accepted into the nursing program. BSN education is supported by a strong foundation of general education courses. College Credit Plus (CCP) credit and transfer credit are evaluated for acceptance. This program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN).
After graduation, BSN students may wish to further their nursing education by pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Both pre-licensure programs provide clinical placements in acute and long-term care settings at Aultman Hospital and its affiliates, as well as long-term care and community agencies within the region.

How Our Accredited RN Programs Differ from Other Universities
We know that college is one of the best investments you can make for yourself. That's why we take pride in being the lowest-priced private college with some of the best outcomes in Northeast Ohio. Our engaged faculty and the success of our students have helped us rank 25th in the nation for alumni earnings and success.
As a student-centered college, the majority of our classes have less than 20 students. Unlike other RN programs, you'll get personalized attention from faculty and staff. For example, new students are assigned an advisor throughout their college journey to help them navigate the college environment, ensuring they have the resources they need for success. We also offer face-to-face tutoring and 100% online tutoring.
At Aultman College, students get hands-on experience both in-person and by using state-of-the-art classroom technology. We’re equipped with high-fidelity simulation models, an Anatomage Table, advanced chemistry, microbiology and A&P lab, and more.
Our Canton, Ohio location provides easy access to Cleveland and Youngstown. But even closer, we share a campus with Aultman Hospital. This hospital is Stark County's largest employer, providing premiere access to clinical placement and career opportunities.
All of these features help lift up our RN nursing programs in Ohio above the others you can choose from.
