College preparedness website BestValueSchools.org has named Aultman College one of the best nursing schools in Ohio. The college ranked 15th in the state.
“Aultman has a history of preparing nurses who positively impact society. The college is known for its rigorousness, and it is great to see the faculty, staff, and students’ dedication and effort have not gone unnoticed. It is an honor to be recognized as one of the top-ranked nursing programs in Ohio for 2021,” said Dr. Jo Ann Donnenwirth, dean of nursing at Aultman College.
The rankings are based on current and historical data for passage rates on the NCLEX, which is the licensing exam to become a registered nurse (RN). In 2020, 94.37 percent of the first-time test takers from Aultman College passed the NCLEX. This is above the Ohio and national averages of 88 percent.
