Nursing advocacy website RegisteredNursing.org has named Aultman College one of the top ranked nursing schools for 2019. The college ranked 15th for “Best RN Programs in Ohio.”
The rankings are based on current and historical data for passage rates on the NCLEX, which is the licensing exam to become a registered nurse (RN). In 2018, 98.44 percent of the first-time test takers from Aultman College passed the NCLEX. This is above the Ohio and national average of 88 percent.
“Aultman has a history of educating nurses since 1892. Times have changed, and the college is growing, but our vision remains the same: to prepare nurses who positively impact society. It is an honor to be recognized as one of the top-ranked nursing programs for 2019,” said Dr. Jo Ann Donnenwirth, dean of nursing at Aultman College.
