Aultman College Receives Initial HLC Approval for BSN Degree

Aultman College is pleased to announce the start of a pre-licensure (four-year) bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree.

Pending final approval from the Higher Learning Commission, the program will start in fall 2017 and is now accepting applications.

“We have been working on this degree program for the last three years, and this approval is the final step in the process,” said Jo Ann Donnenwirth, Ed.D.(c), MSN, dean of nursing and allied health. “We are constantly evaluating our educational offerings to match the demands of the health care industry. With the bachelor’s degree in nursing becoming the new entry-level requirement, this program will serve our students well. Our mission is to educate students for success after graduation, and the BSN will give them a solid foundation for their nursing careers.”

Fall 2017 will be the last semester for students to start an associate degree in nursing at the college.
