Elaine started working for Aultman Hospital in 1990 as a nurses' aide. In 1993, she transferred to the library. Back then, the college was known as the Aultman School of Nursing, which was a three-year diploma program. The library's few computers were not equipped with the internet, and the card catalog was a cabinet with drawers of file cards. Over the years, Elaine has enjoyed working with Aultman's nurses, doctors, residents, students, and employees. It's wonderful to see how excited the students are when they graduate. 

When Elaine is not in the library, you can find her climbing 30 flights of stairs around the hospital while listening to audiobooks. For several years, she has participated in The Canton Project, which was started by Aultman's Dr. Tegtmeier and Adene Keller RN. Elaine has two children and four grandchildren.
