Professor Kaput brings a wealth of clinical and academic experience to his role as an Assistant Professor at Aultman College. With over a decade of critical care nursing experience, he has a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by healthcare professionals. Prior to joining Aultman College, Greg obtained his MSN degree from Sacred Heart University, with a focus on active learning and teaching strategies.
As a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator® (CHSE®), Professor Kaput is dedicated to providing students with immersive and engaging learning experiences through challenging simulations. He is passionate about fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical judgment skills in future nurses.
Before embarking on his nursing career, Greg earned a BS in Biochemistry from Ohio University and worked in research and development for General Electric Healthcare.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys kayaking, fishing, music, and attending his children’s sporting events and performances.
