Makenzie graduated from Aultman College in 2018 with an Associate of Science in Nursing degree. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Akron in 2019. Makenzie is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing degree, specializing in Nursing Education, at Kent State University.
Throughout her career as a Registered Nurse, Makenzie has worked for Aultman Health Systems. She began her career at Aultman Hospital – Main, on a Step-Down Neurology floor. A few years later, she returned to Aultman College as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member, instructing nursing clinicals and labs. Makenzie now serves as the Clinical Field Coordinator for the nursing program at Aultman College.
In her free time, Makenzie enjoys gardening, spending time with her family and pets, hiking, and traveling.
