For the second period in a row, Aultman College has received a $200,000 award from the Ohio Board of Nursing as part of its Nurse Education Grant Program.
The grant will be used to support the college’s bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) completion program, which allows registered nurses (RN’s) with diplomas or associate degrees to complete their bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Aultman College and its partner, Aultman Health Foundation, are one of 8 institutions to receive grants that support post-licensure degrees through the OBN program, which was created to help alleviate the nursing shortage in Ohio by offering financial support to increase enrollment capacity in nursing education programs.
The period of funding for the grant runs through summer of 2019.
