OUTSTANDING NURSING STUDENT AWARD WINNERS

Two Aultman College students were among those recognized at the Ninth Annual Celebration of Nursing Excellence and Awards Banquet, held by the Stark Carroll District Nurses Association.

Tonya Hawk, a Dover resident and an associate science of nursing (ASN) student, and Amanda Paternite, an Akron resident and a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) student, were presented with the Outstanding Nursing Student Awards at the event. Paternite previously graduated from Aultman College’s ASN program in 2016 and has returned to complete her bachelor’s degree.

The award is presented to one nominee from each Stark County nursing program to recognize students who seek learning experiences and enjoy the search for knowledge, maintain good academic standing, demonstrate professional integrity and accountability, and serve as a role model to other students.
