Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Students for the Associate of Science in Nursing program are accepted for a spring semester start. The direct-entry program is designed to be completed in five semesters.
- 2021-22 Tuition: $9,105 a semester (12-18 credit hours); $777 per credit hour (fewer than 12 credit hours)
- 5 semesters of schooling
- Total credit hours required for graduation: 73 (42 credit hours of foundational education AND 31 credit hours of nursing)
- Curriculum model: Medical based
- Clinical placement: acute care, long-term care, and community sites
- Potential placements include: Aultman Health Foundation facilities (various inpatient nursing units, skilled nursing care), Sunrise Vista Health & Wellness, local nursing homes, and various community agencies
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
When you major in nursing at Aultman College, you’ll get direct entry into our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program upon acceptance. For this type of nursing degree, other institutions require students to spend semesters as a “pre-nursing” major and then compete for a limited number of seats in the program. You can start this program in the fall or spring semester.
- 2021-22 Tuition: $9,105 a semester (12-18 credit hours); $777 per credit hour (fewer than 12 credit hours)
- 4 years of schooling
- Total credit hours required for graduation: 120 (58 credit hours of foundational education AND 62 credit hours of nursing)
- Curriculum model: Concept based
- Clinical placement: acute care, long-term care, and community agencies
- Potential placements include: Aultman Health Foundation facilities (various inpatient nursing units, Emergency Room, Intensive Care, skilled nursing care, homecare and hospice); Akron Children’s Hospital; various mental health experiences, including Sunrise Vista Health & Wellness, local nursing homes, and a variety of community agencies

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Completion Program (RN to BSN)
If you’re a registered nurse who already has an associate degree or diploma, you might be considering completing your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Aultman College offers the RN to BSN degree 100% online at a lower tuition rate ($285 per credit hour).
The American Association of Colleges in Nursing state patients experience better nursing care from nurses who have a BSN. Even though the wages are comparable for the new graduate, the BSN degree offers more opportunity for personal growth, professional advancement, and increased wages.
