Jay (He/Him/His) joined the Financial Aid team at Aultman college in 2022. Jay has worked in higher education since 2014. He attended Arkansas Tech University in his home state, where he completed a BFA in Creative Writing and a BA in Psychology in 2016. His work in undergraduate higher education roles, such as being a resident assistant and a peer health educator, inspired him to complete a master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2018. Jay has experience in multiple areas of higher education, including student support services and LGBTQ+ student resources. He is excited to expand on his experiences at Aultman College.
Jay moved to Ohio from Wisconsin in 2020 and landed in North Canton, where he has lived ever since. He enjoys napping with his cats, buying too many books at one time, and adding shows to his Netflix watchlist.
